Tempo Focus uses Apple's Family Controls. Three things to check:
That's intentional. The timer uses an end-date so it stays accurate when the app is backgrounded or even killed. When you re-open, it shows the correct remaining time. Blocking continues for the duration you started.
Streaks count consecutive calendar days where you completed at least one session. If you crossed midnight or your iPhone was in a different time zone, the day boundary may be off. Open the Insights tab — if yesterday's bar shows minutes, the streak should count.
The AI coach runs entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence. If your iPhone doesn't support Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later, M-series iPad), or if Apple Intelligence is turned off in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri, the coach falls back to a generic 3-step template for tasks and a curated quotes API for tips. The AI coach is optional — the rest of the app works fine without it.
iCloud sync uses CloudKit. Make sure:
Live Activities have a system-imposed maximum duration of 8 hours and can be ended by iOS under memory pressure. The timer itself keeps running in the app — just reopen Tempo Focus to see it.
Yes. iCloud sync keeps your sessions and achievements in step with your iPhone.
Not yet. It's on the roadmap.
Settings → Data → Reset all data. This wipes every session, achievement, and schedule on this device. CloudKit data is removed when you sign out of iCloud.
Settings → Data → Export as JSON or Export as CSV. Share to Files, email, or any app.
