Getting Started

What devices does Upcomin' support?

Upcomin' requires iOS 26 or later. On-device AI guides require an iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer). Widgets and Live Activities are available on all supported devices.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Upcomin' doesn't use accounts, emails, or passwords. Your list is stored locally and optionally synced across your own Apple devices via iCloud.

Tracking & Reminders

How many games can I track?

The free plan tracks up to 5 upcoming releases. Upcomin' Pro unlocks unlimited tracking.

What reminders can I set?

Free: release eve and launch hour. Pro adds one-week-out, one-hour-out, and a "storage nudge" three days before launch that estimates the download size on your primary platform. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and fire as time-sensitive notifications.

I'm not getting launch reminders. What do I do?

Go to iOS Settings > Notifications > Upcomin' and make sure notifications are allowed and time-sensitive delivery is on. If the game's release date changed after you tracked it, untrack and re-track to refresh the reminder.

What is the Global Launch Hub?

A Pro feature that shows the release countdown in five major timezones (Pacific, Eastern, UTC, Central European, Tokyo) so you know exactly when a worldwide drop hits your region.

Prices, Streams & Player Counts

Where do prices come from?

PC prices are sourced live from CheapShark across Steam, GOG, Epic, Humble, Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, and more. The "Lowest ever" line shows the historical low across all tracked stores.

Why don't I see prices for a console game?

CheapShark tracks PC storefronts only, so console-exclusive titles won't show a price card. Console release info still appears in the game's detail view.

What is "Live on Twitch"?

Upcomin' checks Twitch in real time and lists the top streamers playing that game right now. Tap a streamer to open their live feed in the Twitch app or web player.

What is "Players Now"?

For released PC games with a Steam entry, Upcomin' shows the current number of players in-game right now using Steam's public API. It's a pulse of how alive the community is.

AI Guides

How do AI guides work?

Guides are generated entirely on your device by Apple Foundation Models. Your prompts and the generated text never leave your phone — no servers, no accounts, no logs. Because they're generated on-device, occasional inaccuracies can happen; always verify critical details.

Why don't I see "Get Guides" on my device?

AI guides require an iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled and the language models downloaded. Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri to enable it.

Upcomin' Pro

What does Pro unlock?

Unlimited tracked games, the Global Launch Hub, all reminder presets, calendar export, and the Year in Review shareable recap.

How do I restore my Pro subscription?

Open Settings inside Upcomin' and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel?

Open iOS Settings > tap your Apple ID at the top > Subscriptions > Upcomin' > Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and request a refund for Upcomin'. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Sync & Data

How does iCloud sync work?

When iCloud is enabled for Upcomin', your tracked list, followed games, and preferences sync across your Apple devices via CloudKit. Your data lives in your private iCloud container — only you have access.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete Upcomin' from your device. To remove iCloud data too, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Upcomin' > Delete Data.

Widgets & Live Activity

What widgets are available?

A Next Release widget for Home and Lock screen showing your soonest tracked countdown, plus a Control Center toggle to flip between Playing and Backlog. When a tracked release is within 24 hours, a Live Activity appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro+).
